The Great Wall was amazing! I did a tour through my hostel to a remote part of the wall. We were the only tourists there, which made it a really great experience. It's just unbelievable!
I also went on a day tour of Beijing. We went to Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven Park, and the Summer Palace. We also tried several different kinds of delicious Chinese tea and visited a silk factory to see how it is made.
Beijing traffic is unreal! They are doing a lot to clean up the city to prepare for the Olympics in 2008, but the pollution is a big problem here. Also, the Chinese have this disgusting habit of clearing their throats and spitting on the ground every 5 minutes!
