We had a long 4 day weekend for Anzac Day in April, so we took a trip to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island. Adelaide is a quiet, cute, little town. Not really much to do, but we rented bicycles and rode around the city and out to Henley Beach, West Beach and Glenelg. We spent 2.5 days on Kangaroo Island. We rented a car and drove everywhere! We stayed overnight at a campsite near Flinders Chase National Park and saw tons of kangaroos! We saw the beautiful rock formations of Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, and we went to the Little Sahara desert, where we tried to do a little sandboarding, but we weren't very good at it. We also saw lots of sea lions and little penguins!
In May, Tool came to Sydney. Awesome show!!! The cold weather was delayed this year (thankfully), so we enjoyed a few extra evenings outside and having bbqs.
Steph and CJ came out to visit towards the end of May. We had a great time with them! We did the Spit to Manly walk and the Bondi to Coogee Walk. Each time, we ended up in a beer garden at the end of the walk, so that made CJ happy. :)
