I went to see "Carmen" at the Sydney Opera House last night with my flatmate and a few other friends. It wasn't as bad as a thought it would be...In fact, I actually enjoyed it. They sang it in French, but there were subtitles and a program with an English summary of each act so I could follow what was going on. I even recognized a few of the songs!
Christina and Deanna - you'll find this funny - As I was sitting in the balcony waiting for the opera to start I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman with the glasses! :-)
Yeah, so I think I'm staying in Sydney for a little longer than I expected...Big surprise, right? Probably just another month, until the end of April, but we'll see...
